RF134 Crack Repair Kit | Precast hybrid joint compound
Description
RHINOZ Hybrid Jointing Compound is a two component, joint sealing compound based on epoxy modified polyurethane. It is high strength, flexible, vibration and impact resistant. It is non-sag on vertical surfaces and nonshrinking due to their high-solids content. It is easy to mix and can be applied by using either a trowel or spatula. It is ideal for sealing joints movement joints, expansion joints and repairing cracks. It is excellent adhesion to most surfaces such as concrete, masonry, precast, fiber concrete, wood and other construction materials.
Application process
- Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, peeling paints, and other
- contaminant. For large or deep joint, backing rod or concrete can be used to fill the gap first.
- Apply RHINOZ Primer Bonding all over the gap and cover 5 cm to the side, both left and right. Leave it to dry for 10-15 minutes. Leaving it exposed for too long may cause dust accumulation on the surface.
- Use trowel to transfer part B into the part A container. Mix Part-A/B = 3/1 by weight. Install
- paddle mixer to the drill, mix thoroughly using low speed mixer of 300-500 rpm until
- become homogeneously grey color. The mixed should be used within 60 minutes.
- Apply RHINOZ Hybrid Jointing Compound by trowel into the joints and scrap over to cover
- 5 cm to the side, both left and right. Touch up the surface for smooth and leveled finish.
- The 2nd coat can be applied to touch up or fill the joint 2-3 hours after the first coat.
- Allow a setting time of 24 hours, before sanding with sandpaper, painting or applying a covering material.
